Submitting a proposal for Going Global 2019 is your crucial opportunity to show tertiary education’s most important people that you are a thought-leader within the sector. The submission deadline has been extended to 10 October 2018.
There are three types of proposal that can be submitted: individual contributor, workshop facilitator or a full session.
You should ensure your proposal relates to the 2019 theme ‘Knowledge diplomacy and the digital world’.
Under the theme, your proposal should look through a policy or practice lens, focusing on one of four critical roles:
- Global knowledge producer: how can policy makers, researchers and institutions develop international models of collaboration capable of solving global challenges?
- High level skills developer: how can we strengthen collaboration between industry, civil society and tertiary education to develop the relevant skills and attitudes in young people?
- Global society anchor and solution provider: how can policy makers and institutions promote social inclusion and mobility more effectively?
- Lead and partner in a future world: how should institutions ensure that they remain relevant in a future digital world? What strategies should they employ?
